Crew Travis & Charles arrived around 8 am and finished about 1 pm. They kept the driveway clear and worked efficiently. 2) Solar Consult (30 Minutes) - Custom Design and Savings Plan
You'll see your shade report, panel layout, and exact bill-swap figures/savings. We show your new monthly vs. your current bill and answer any questions you might have, virtually. If everything makes sense, we'll see if you qualify.
3) Install & Activation
After you qualify, we will handle everything—permitting, engineering, HOA approvals, installation, inspections, and utility interconnection—all in-house. Once they are turned on and producing your electricity, your 10-30% lower bill swap will activate.

I don't think my HOA will allow it.
Florida’s Solar Rights Act (Fla. Stat. §163.04) protects your right to install solar. An HOA can request reasonable placement, but not if it reduces performance or adds unnecessary cost. We prepare the full ARC/HOA package and manage approvals end-to-end
What warranties do you offer on your solar panel systems?
Equipment with manufacturer coverage (panels up to 25 years, inverters 10–25 years) plus Flo Energy’s workmanship/roof-penetration warranty. Your proposal lists the exact terms by component.
Can I monitor the performance of my solar panels
Yes. You’ll have a mobile app/portal for real-time production, lifetime output, and alerts. Our team can view system health to help troubleshoot quickly.
Does this void the warranty on my roof?
No. We use flashed, sealed attachments that meet Florida codes, and we back penetrations with a workmanship warranty.
What if my roof is old?
We evaluate roof condition during the site survey. If it has ~1–2 years or less remaining life, we’ll recommend replacing it with us with us before installing solar. We offer a roof and solar bundle.
It sounds too good to be true.
Solar isn’t “free.” It’s a utility swap—you lease the equipment that produces your power. Savings depend on your usage, rates, shading, and system size. We’ll model it transparently before you decide.
What happens if there is an issue with my solar panels?
You’ll receive monitoring alerts and a direct service contact ASAP. For equipment or production issues, we coordinate diagnosis and repairs under your manufacturer and workmanship warranties ASAP. If you have any financial implications that occur are under our warranties, you will be cut a check.
Will installing solar panels increase the value of my home?
Owned systems often appraise favorably because buyers value lower electric bills. Florida also excludes the added value of residential solar from property-tax assessment (Fla. Stat. §193.624), so installing solar doesn’t raise your property taxes
How long does it take to install a solar panel system?
On-site installation is typically 1–2 days. With design, permitting, HOA approval, inspections, and utility interconnection, the full process is usually 4–10 weeks, depending on your city and utility.
Will my roof leak?
Leaks are very very rare. We use code-compliant flashed attachments installed by licensed professionals and cover penetrations with a workmanship warranty.
What happens when I need to get a new roof?
We offer R&R service for a quoted fee. We’ll coordinate with our or your roofer, protect wiring/equipment, and reinstall to code so warranties remain intact.
When I sell my house will the solar payments transfer?
Real Estate agent will make sure the buyer assumes the agreement; we handle the transfer paperwork.
Is this a loan?
No. Taking out a loan for panels doesn't make sense for 95% of people. You would have to be in a very specific tax scenario for us to recommend it to you.
When will my solar payments start?
Payments begin at system activation (PTO). Your documents will show the exact date.
